Casa Montes Negros
Montes Negros is a traditional Spanish finca, or smallholding, located near the hamlet of Rubite in La Axarquía region of Andalucía. Tucked into the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda mountain range with amazing views of La Maroma and Los Monte de Malaga, it is a working organic farm with a variety of indigenous tree crops such as almonds, olives, figs and pomegranates.

Casa Montes Negros offers comfortable, rustic accommodation at a restored traditional hillside cottage adjoining the main house, with separate entrance and private terrace, as well as cookery workshops and residential cookery weekends.
This tranquil retreat is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city in a unique rural setting. The cottage is ideally situated for walking, cycling and bird watching. Enjoy sipping chilled wine on the terrace while watching the sunset, sunbathing in total peace whilst listening to birdsong, or strolling the property admiring the countryside and wildlife. The cottage is self-catering, however we also offer meals prepared with 100% organic ingredients, produced on the farm or locally sourced. The menu changes to reflect the seasons.
